From Minneapolis or St. Paul:
Take 94 east to 35E north
Exit on Maryland Avenue and turn right
Go 1.7 miles to Earl Street and turn left
Go 4 blocks to East Ivy Avenue and turn left
You will see the Humanities Center to your right
From the East:
Take 94 west to 35E north
Exit on Maryland Avenue
Turn right on Maryland Avenue
Go 1.7 miles to Earl Street and turn left
Go 4 blocks to East Ivy Avenue and turn left
You will see the Humanities Center to your right
From the North:
Take 35E south to the Maryland Avenue exit
Turn left on Maryland Avenue
Go 1.9 miles to Earl Street and turn left
Go 4 blocks to East Ivy Avenue and turn left
You will see the Humanities Center to your right
From the South:
ake 35E north to Maryland Avenue exit
Turn right on Maryland Avenue
Go 1.7 miles to Earl Street and turn left
Go 4 blocks to East Ivy Avenue and turn left
You will see the Humanities Center to your right
From the MSP Airport:
Take Highway 5 east ramp towards St. Paul (MN-55). Stay left.
Merge onto Highway 5 East. (also called West Seventh Street or Old Fort Road)
Go approximately 2 miles east to I-35E north.
Go approximately 4 miles north on I-35E to Maryland Avenue exit. (north of downtown St. Paul)
Turn right (east) on Maryland Avenue. Go 1.9 miles to Earl Street and turn left.
Go 4 blocks (as far as you can go) to Ivy Avenue and turn left. Turn at the first driveway on the right.

The Minnesota Humanities Center is conveniently located within blocks of two Metro Transit bus routes.
Route 61 - Arcade Street (3 blocks west)
Route 64 - Maryland Avenue (4 blocks south)

Parking:
Our parking lot is located to the right and back of the Humanities Center. (The driveway and lot on the left side of the building is for the senior citizens' apartment building located behind the Humanities Center. Please do not park there.) Overflow parking is available on adjacent city streets. The Minnesota Humanities Center is a restored 1924 golden stucco building with a red tile roof. The front door is between two white marble pillars and faces Ivy Avenue.
