The Minnesota Humanities Center provides Minnesotans of all ages the opportunity to learn and grow in humanities areas—areas that enable people to strengthen and advance themselves, the communities in which they live, and the schools, colleges, and cultural organizations to which they belong. Democracy, government, and civil life depend upon knowledge of history, literature, philosophy, and more. With this knowledge, people can make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of others.

The Minnesota Humanities Center is proud to offer quality public and professional programming throughout the state. To provide these opportunities, the Humanities Center relies on a mix of funding sources from federal and state grants, private foundations and corporations, and individual donors.

A donation made in memory of a loved one or to honor someone on a special occasion or for an accomplishment can make a wonderful gift. The Minnesota Humanities Center would be pleased to recognize such gifts and send an acknowledgement to that person for you.
